Kyocera today announced the launch of the FS-1118mfp mono multifunction printer with ECOSYS technology. The new product is designed to build on the success of the companys first ECOSYS multifunction product, the FS-1018mfp, which was launched last year. In common with all ECOSYS devices, the FS-1118mfp delivers very low total cost of ownership, just 0.68p per page, while the inclusion of network connectivity as standard makes it the perfect device for the document processing needs of both individuals and smaller offices or departments.
The FS-1118MFP delivers 1200 dpi quality documents, in A4 format, at print speeds of up to 18ppm and with a time to first print of approximately 8 seconds. The new multifunctional system provides the perfect printing, copying and colour scanning solution in one compact device. With the inclusion of the optional fax system, the FS-1118MFP can genuinely become the hub of any small or home office.

The FS-1118mfp has a capacity of 300 sheets as standard, and this can be expanded to 550 sheets with the addition of the PF-17 paper feeder. The machine has 96MB of memory as standard, which easily enables the performance of advanced printing and copying functions such as scan-once, print-many and electronic document sorting. The FS-1118mfp has a range of connectivity features, from parallel and USB connectivity for single users, to the built-in Ethernet card which allows the machine to meet the printing and copying needs of multiple users in workgroup.
LDAP support, Scan-to-email and network faxing* all add to the power of the FS-1118mfp as a means of digitising and distributing documents, making it the ideal multi-purpose document device for small businesses.
