Mangstor Inc., developer of high performance, next-generation, non-volatile memory storage solutions, has announced its participation at Flash Memory Summit 2016 which included a keynote presentation on NVMe over Fabric (NVMf) technology delivered by Paul Prince, Mangstor CTO.

Mangstor's participation at FMS was also complemented by live demonstrations of its award-winning NX6320 NVMf Storage Array in the IT Brand Pulse NVMe SolutionsFest Lab, as well as in-booth presentations covering advanced NVMf applications such as MySQL OLTP, Burst Buffer, and Windows Storage Server.

FMS is a key Mangstor industry event as its product portfolio of high-performance, low latency SSDs and storage arrays are NVMe-based. Leading in innovation and performance is Mangstor's NX6320 NVMf Storage Array which earned a 2015 'Best of Show' award at FMS as the Most Innovative Flash Memory Technology and first available solution. The Platinum Sponsor Mangstor showcased its leading NVMe storage portfolio at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California.

Paul Prince's keynote at FMS 2016 entitled, "NVMe over Fabric: Storage Solutions for Real-time Data Analytics," focused on NVMf technology and includes a brief background on the newly released specification, market opportunities, performance and latency advantages (over iSCSI and FC SAN solutions), currently available solutions, and next-generation capabilities. The keynote was delivered on Thursday, August 11th in the Grand Ballroom.

Mangstor's in-booth presentations focused on advanced NVMf capabilities supported within NX-Series arrays. This included presentations on MySQL / OnLine Transactional Processing (OLTP) applications, burst buffer applications for various High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads and new Windows Storage Server applications. NX-Series Storage Arrays enable IT managers to dynamically provision flash storage locally or remotely and manage those resources centrally. These performance-optimized arrays provide an RDMA clustered scale-out architecture, that delivers dramatically lower latency and higher IOPS performance than traditional iSCSI and FC SAN solutions.

The NX6320 Storage Array was demonstrated live in IT Brand Pulse's NVMe SolutionsFest Lab at the Santa Clara Convention Center, it provided FMS attendees the opportunity to see NVMe products running live under a series of FIO test suites. The NX6320 array, using Mellanox ConnectX-4 100 Gb/s Network Interface Cards (NICs) delivers leading bandwidth and IOPS at extremely low and consistent latencies and was rated as 'the best performance in shared storage' by

Mangstor and its award-winning NX-Series Storage Arrays are helping to drive adoption of the NVMf standard and are available through Mangstor's worldwide sales channel of distributors, resellers, system integrators and manufacturing representatives.
