Mangstor Inc., developer of high performance, next-generation, non-volatile memory storage solutions, has announced its participation at Flash Memory Summit 2016 which included a keynote presentation on NVMe over Fabric (NVMf) technology delivered by Paul Prince, Mangstor CTO.
Mangstor's participation at FMS was also complemented by live demonstrations of its award-winning NX6320 NVMf Storage Array in the IT Brand Pulse NVMe SolutionsFest Lab, as well as in-booth presentations covering advanced NVMf applications such as MySQL OLTP, Burst Buffer, and Windows Storage Server.

Paul Prince's keynote at FMS 2016 entitled, "NVMe over Fabric: Storage Solutions for Real-time Data Analytics," focused on NVMf technology and includes a brief background on the newly released specification, market opportunities, performance and latency advantages (over iSCSI and FC SAN solutions), currently available solutions, and next-generation capabilities. The keynote was delivered on Thursday, August 11th in the Grand Ballroom.
Mangstor's in-booth presentations focused on advanced NVMf capabilities supported within NX-Series arrays. This included presentations on MySQL / OnLine Transactional Processing (OLTP) applications, burst buffer applications for various High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads and new Windows Storage Server applications.
