Ingram Micro Inc. was the recipient of multiple Cisco Partner Summit awards for 2016, including the Asia-Pacific-Japan Geographical Region award as Distributor Partner of the Year.
Cisco revealed the winners during its annual partner conference in March in San Diego. Ingram Micro earned four honours -- three Theatre awards and the Geographical Region award:
- Americas - U.S.: Distribution Partner of the Year, U.S.
- Americas - Latin America (Brazil): Distributor of the Year
- Europe-Middle East-Africa-Russia - Central: Distributor Partner of the Year
- Asia-Pacific-Japan Geography (Singapore): Distributor Partner of the Year
Awarded to exemplary channel partners, the Cisco Partner Summit Geographical Region and Americas awards are designed to recognise best-in-class business practices and serve as a model to the industry within their respective regions. Areas of consideration include innovative practices, architecture-led approach successes, strategic business outcome-focused programs, seizing new opportunities and sales approaches.

Cisco Partner Summit Geographical Region awards reflect the top-performing partners within specific technology markets across the geographical region. All award recipients are selected by a group of Cisco Global Partner Organization and regional executives.
