Steinberg goes with student verification solution from e-commerce provider asknet AG

Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH, manufacturer of software and hardware solutions for the music and audio industry, has again expanded its long-standing business relationship with asknet and is now using asknet's verification solution in its online shop.

"With asknet Verify, we have created a solution that is easy to use for our customers, accelerates processes and is also cost efficient. The end customers – students – will also find the verification process easy to use and without the need to worry about privacy in particular," says Franz Schlickum, Vice President Digital Goods Business Unit.

Its integration into the design of the Steinberg website allows the verification to be incorporated seamlessly into the purchasing process. Real-time verification is possible thanks to its link to universities' identity management systems. The unique combination of digital and non-digital verification methods in different languages, countries and formats makes it possible to achieve a verification rate of nearly 100 percent.
