WorkMobile, a service which enables businesses globally to capture form-based information on any smartphone or tablet, has expanded its channel programme to help new and existing partners capitalise on combined recurring revenue streams, worth up to £700k in three years.

The Manchester-based company, which has signed partner agreements worth £1m in the last three years, said its partner programme will help resellers to generate revenue from value-add services, deliver more value to existing customers, open up new markets and cement existing relationships.

WorkMobile provides businesses with an easy-to-use and highly configurable mobile data capture solution that can be pushed to any field-based smart device using the dedicated app. Used to create advanced workflow solutions the service may be white labelled and hosted locally by partners and customers alike.

Global sales have doubled year on year since its launch in 2011. The UK business has already delivered complete solutions for a number of local clients, including United Utilities, CarrillionTelent, Robinson Way, Morrisons Utility Services, and charities including Oxfam and Action Aid. The revamped international partner programme underpins WorkMobile's goal to grow into a £50m business in the next five years.

Dr Moneeb Awan, Managing Director of WorkMobile, said: "WorkMobile is a relatively new solution that has grown substantially in just three years. Because we're the only provider that offers license and per user billing together with on premise services we're winning market share worldwide.

"We've invested heavily in our partner programme to help value add resellers bolster their business with WorkMobile® and we have a dedicated team focused on helping them to sell more of our product into their customers.

"A typical reseller at the smaller end of the scale with a single customer who has 100 users will generate £20,000 revenue in the first year. It's easy to see how a large reseller responsible for 5,000 users could generate £300,000 of recurring revenue and £100,000 one-off fees in the first year alone."

Geoff Evans, Executive Manager at South African reseller Altec ACS said: "We've been working with WorkMobile® for two years and have found the service to be readily embraced across a wide range of sectors. Even the financial services sector, an area we know well and not generally renowned for adopting new technologies quickly has seized the opportunity this service provides, bringing in new revenue and strengthening our relationships."
