BlueStar, the global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, has introduced the latest addition to Star Micronics ' new "i" Series line of mobile printing solutions: the TSP650II BTi receipt printer, Star's first Bluetooth-compatible desktop printing solution. The TSP650II BTi is the newest Star Micronics printer to be MFi certified by Apple for use with the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. It also connects just as effortlessly with Android and Windows mobile operating systems for total flexibility and ease of use.

The TSP650II BTi features Star's "Just Works" SPP profile, which allows for simple device pairing with no passkey or mode-switching necessary. It prints up to 60 receipts per minute or 300 mm per second at 203 dpi, Ietting users in retail, restaurant and hospitality applications connect on the fly for fast results. The TSP650II BTi also offers easy drop in and print paper loading and a reliable guillotine cutter, all in a compact footprint that won't clutter busy Point-of-Sale areas.

The TSP650II BTi is the latest addition to the new Star Micronics "i" Series line of iOS compatible Bluetooth POS printers. The first solution was the portable two-inch SM-S220i introduced in late 2012, followed by the rugged portable three-inch SM-T300i and the soon to be released four-inch SM-T400i. These three mobile printing solutions are all iOS and Android compatible, providing compact mobile printing for retail and hospitality payment processing on the go.
