The Noritsu QSS Green, a digital dry minilab which is due to be launched at PMA@CES this month, will be shipping in the UK from February and is said to raise the bar in terms of the combination of features, price and usability.

A wide selection of print services
The QSS Green comes with an automatic duplex printing function, so it is easy to make double-sided value-added products such as photo books, calendars and greeting cards, as well as normal digital camera prints. Additionally, the platen gap* in the QSS Green is adjustable, enabling it to process normal paper, cast coated paper and a variety of sheet paper. The adjustable platen gap expands the variety of print services that can be offered.
*Platen gap is the gap between the print head and the paper.
High quality prints
Combining a superior inkjet system and high quality inks, the QSS Green produces prints with outstanding light fastness and long lasting colours. Additionally, Noritsu's image processing technology optimises the image and further ensures excellent print quality.
High resolution printing
The QSS Green produces 720x720 or 1440x1440dpi prints which are less grainy and have smoother gradations than standard prints. Furthermore, this improvement in terms of graininess delivers better contrast, texture and depth to the image.
Increased print size
With a maximum advance length of 1757.7mm (69.2 inches), the QSS Green can make prints in an extensive range of sizes to meet a wide variety of needs - further expanding the QSS Green's ability to offer the widest range of products to customers
AccuSmart correction technology and raw image file processing
Noritsu's image processing technology "AccuSmart" automatically corrects images, applying a wide range of correction tools such as colour correction, backlit scene correction, noise reduction, lens aberration correction and red-eye removal.
AccuSmart also allows you to easily process raw images and then apply AccuSmart technology to turn them into ultra-high quality prints.
"EZ Controller" (Sold separately)
The EZ Controller software enables you to manage your Noritsu machine effectively including controlling value-added print creation and print order management.
