BlueStar, the global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, hosted its Madrid Technology Summit on Tuesday, 19 June at the Hotel HUSA Princesa in Madrid, Spain. BlueStar created the Pan-European Technology Summits to provide opportunities for Value-Added Resellers and Independent Software Vendors to discover new solutions from channel manufacturers and create new partnerships to fuel business growth.
Value-Added Resellers from across the Iberia region attended the all-day event, gaining exclusive insight on upcoming products and services from technology solutions industry leaders. "It's amazing how BlueStar was able to gather so many quality channel professionals in Madrid from all over Spain," said Datalogic's Iberia Sales Manager Jos Mara Tejedor.
Expert speakers from across vertical markets discussed new technologies and trends in POS, RFID, cloud computing and mobile applications. International vendor sponsors showcased the latest solutions, focusing on Iberia and its unique regional needs. "It was great to have the opportunity to see such a huge solution portfolio in one location," said Miguel Garca Snchez, Athelia Sales Manager. "The presentations were thought-provoking because they related to real topics," he continued: "The RFID and Mobile Operating Systems presentations were particularly interesting, because these topics are a real issue to companies involved in mobility solutions."

The fourth in a series of educational and training events to be hosted across Europe, the Madrid Technology Summit brought vendors and resellers together with the BlueStar team. Along with its focus on industry education, the all-day Madrid Technology Summit provided a new venue for vendors and VARs to meet and network, developing new relationships to grow their businesses in 2012 and beyond. "The Unitech 'Tablet and Tea' Tomorrow's Solution Room at BlueStar Madrid Technology Summit was very successful," said Joan Gimenez Canal, Unitech Terroritory Manager.
