Midwich, the UK trade-only distributor of audiovisual and print solutions, will be launching the installation audio range from Monitor Audio. The range will be available through Midwich's dedicated Pro-audio division which launched in June this year.

Monitor Audio is a wholly British owned and managed loudspeaker designer and manufacturer. Since 1972 they have been at the leading edge of loudspeaker design and technology, perfecting the implementation of metal drivers. They are renowned for exemplary speaker cabinet construction and finish, and now stand in the enviable position of being one of world's top speaker brands with growth over the last 10 years unrivalled by any of their competitors.

This knowledge and expertise of the traditional speaker market has been used to create a host of technologies for the custom installation market. Their custom install speakers have been developed to provide synergy with other traditional speakers in the range whilst also offering exceptional performance in their own right.

The custom install range offers an extensive and flexible range of models which have been created by listening to and working with leading industry professionals. The range offers a number of options with solutions for practically every application. They apply their innovative design skills and experience in making high-end hi-fi and home theatre speakers to the custom fit environment, providing unrivalled performance, reliability and ease of installation.

Lee Baker, business manager for AV at Midwich said: 'We have been more than delighted at the success of our Pro-audio division. We do not just stock the products; we can also help with pre and post technical advice and are looking at adding more resources from 2012. Adding a premium brand like Monitor Audio shows that the market is accepting Midwich as a premium destination for professional audio equipment.'
