Varlink expands capacity and resources further

Varlink, the York-based Specialist Distributor of mobile & retail computing and data capture hardware, has announced a number of new appointments.

Following the appointment of Varlink as a Zebra Card Printer Distributor Vicky Gee has been recruited as a sales executive for Zebra's card printers and supplies. Emma Phillips has had her Brand Marketing Executive role for Zebra barcode products expanded to embrace card printers. Carol Tattersall has been appointed to the newly created Zebra barcode products sales executive.  



Varlink CEO Mike Pullon commented: "We have been working with Zebra since our inception in 2005. These appointments will ensure that we continue to provide existing Zebra resellers with the service they require whilst having the capacity to find and recruit new customers for the brand. Our marketing team has been successful in engaging with potential new resellers to the point where we are added a sales executive to concentrate on these opportunities. Angela Bailey joins the sale team to work with new customers to ensure they get the help and support required to resell Varlink's product set."  

EPoS Distributor, the Retail Computing sales division of Varlink, has also added numbers. Pullon said "Our success in building sales of Posiflex, PC based EPoS terminals, has lead us the recruit Ben Stamp to our EPoS sales team and to appoint Sarah Eggleton as Marketing Executive for the division"  

Other recent appointments include Lucy Cammiss as Marketing Executive for Brother, Datalogic and Zebex, Katherine Tinning in a similar role for Trimble and Opticon and Alasdair Stuart for Unitech and Getac.

Pullon concluded: "The appointments that we have made when ensure that we continue to recruit resellers for the brands that we distribute whilst maintaining the level of support we provide to the resellers we currently work with. We have been particularly keen to expand our marketing team so that we are able to continue to create mutually beneficial marketing tools and campaigns for our customers."
