Zebra Technologies Corporation, a global leader in specialty printing, RFID and enterprise location solutions, has announced the extension of its relationship with mobile computing distributor, Varlink.

After five years of distributing Zebra's barcode offerings, Varlink will now also promote and distribute its card software and hardware, including the recently released ZXP Series 3 card printer.  As part of a nationwide rollout, Varlink will distribute Zebra's card products working alongside a card-focused Zebra team with dedicated support and customer microsite.

Varlink will sell Zebra's card printing products to resellers in the education institutions, retail outlets and the financial industry.  The partnership will support Varlink's continued progression into the EPOS marketplace, a key element of its distribution reach, while accommodating the growing retail side of its business.  It will also allow Varlink to further help its customers support their own marketing activity by offering an extension of its resources, including rebranded sales materials and hands on support.

"Zebra barcode and mobile printers have been an important part of our product offering since our inception in 2005," comments Mike Pullon, CEO, Varlink. The breadth of range, product quality, market share, sales and marketing support available from Zebra are outstanding and much valued by our customers. The launch of the highly competitive ZXP Series 3 means that this is an exciting time to become a card printer distributor for Zebra. We look forward to becoming a significant part of Zebra's card distribution network."

"Varlink is perfectly positioned to help us bring our card offering to the wider market" said Mike Pitt, Regional General Sales Manager, UK & Ireland & Benelux Zebra Technologies. "The team is well known for working closely with its partners to develop tailored solutions. It also offers a dedicated network of support for its customers, backed by years of experience and industry knowledge."
