Canon UK, the imaging solutions provider, has launched the compact, high-speed A3 imageFormula DR-6030C scanner for small and medium sized businesses, corporate environments and scanning bureaus.
With enhanced scanning speeds of up to 60ppm (80ppm in landscape mode), the imageFormula DR-6030C offers a range of benefits over its predecessor model, the DR-5010C, with no corresponding increase in price. It now delivers a greater value performance and an excellent return on investment as one of the most compact and energy efficient A3 production scanners on the market.
Capable of enhancing productivity in paper intensive environments, the front paper feed and exit design also make it ideal for desktop use within corporate office departments and remote branch offices. A dependable feeder-mechanism and paper transport supports jam-free feeding for a wide range of documents, including A3 sized media, plastic card scanning, and documents up to 3m in length.
A selectable 'straight-thru' paper path also allows users to scan exceptionally thick documents, including card or multi-sheets, while the DR-6030C is also fully compatibility with Canon's Flatbed Scanner Unit 101, to handle irregular sized documents such as books and passports.

The DR-6030C provides a range of software solutions to improve image quality. Advanced Text Enhancement II highlights text information against dark patterned backgrounds while Auto Colour Detection helps reduce pre-sorting time by automatically distinguishing colour from black and white documents, reducing final file sizes by saving images in the correct format.
Bundled with CapturePerfect 3.0, Kofax VRS and Adobe Acrobat Standard, the DR-6030C can handle varied scanning tasks to maximise its full potential.
The imageFormula DR-6030C is now available across Europe.
