Office technology manufacturer, Brother, now offers duplex printing as standard across its latest range of mono-laser multifunction machines.
Now, the companys new 8000 series of mono-laser all in ones features duplex on even the lowest end model. It is hoped that the new office-hub machines will offer increased opportunities for resellers, who will be able to offer them to customers looking to cut costs in the current market conditions. Brother has also intimated that offering duplex as standard will be the rule across all future launches.
Rob Bridges, head of channel sales at Brother UK commented: Workplace efficiency and the environment are two issues that have always been central to Brothers strategy of providing reliable, high quality products that will help our reseller partners win loyal customers. These new machines are designed to act as highly efficient office hub products, something our research tells us the majority of businesses are currently looking for.
By making duplex standard across this new range, we are presenting resellers with new opportunities to sell to customers who are becoming increasingly concerned with decreasing their overheads and running costs, no matter what their other requirements on multifunction. Its an added bonus that duplex printing also saves large amounts of paper and so is much better for the environment.
With the launch of this new range, were hoping to improve even further on our 21% market share in mono-laser last year, which gave us a number two position. We know we can only do that with the support of our reseller partners and thats why its so important that we keep giving them new and interesting product solutions to present to their customers.
The 8000 series is available now, with prices starting from 375 (ex VAT).
