Citizen Systems Europe announces a change of Managing Director as of the 1st November 2008 with the appointment of Mr Yasuhiro Kiuchi.

The appointment coincides with the return to Japan of the out going managing director Mr Norimitsu Kato following five years of service to the business in Europe. During this period Citizen has re-established itself, from a European based manufacturer of dot-matrix printers, to a market leader in thermal printers and calculators.

Kiuchi brings with him over twenty two years of experience within Citizen including international assignments in Britain and Hong Kong. This will stand him and the company in good stead as they take on the responsibility for all Point Of Sale business within Europe, which will now be managed and supported through the Esslingen office.

With a wide range of Label and Receipt printers Citizen is in the position to provide market leading solutions to end users via their distribution channel. The company will continue to develop the market with their great reputation for quality products and brand leadership.
