Canon, a world-leader in digital imaging solutions for the home and office, has announced the appointment of Jonothan Sultan (pictured) to the position of Marketing Manager, Canon Consumer Imaging, Republic of Ireland.
Sultan joins Canon following a highly focused marketing career spanning over 18 years in the business to consumer and technology/telecoms sectors. His broad experience comes from working for a variety of leading multinationals in hardware, software and services; including Dixons Store Group, Gateway Computers and the GSM Association.
Leaving his recent position as Media Account Manager for iTouch Ireland, Sultan will be responsible for devising cost-effective and results driven marketing campaigns for Canon in the Republic of Ireland across all of its consumer imaging products: digital still compact & SLR cameras, camcorders, photo printers, inkjet & laser all-in-ones, scanners, fax machines, personal desktop copiers, projectors, web cameras, video conferencing cameras and binoculars.
Sultan states his goals on joining Canon: I'm looking forward to playing a key part in making Canon the number one requested digital imaging brand by discerning consumers all over Ireland. A key focus will also be working with our valued resellers and enhancing the marketing and support we offer in order to further develop our business with them.
