Polaroid Commercial ID Systems (Polaroid Commercial ID), a division of Polaroid Corporation, has launched a fully integrated ID Card system with the software, camera interface, printer, and supplies all manufactured by Datacard Group.
The new Polaroid system represents a significant advancement in product quality, flexibility, and functionality.
Polaroid Commercial ID General Manager Mike Fox said his company selected Datacard as its OEM supplier for several key reasons. "Datacard has a long history of producing high-quality, reliable, and technologically advanced ID card systems," said Fox "And as integrated secure ID and card personalization solutions are a core competency of Datacard, we found a good deal of synergy between our strategies and corporate philosophies."
Furthermore, Senior Product and Marketing Manager Audrey White noted, "Polaroid was seeking an OEM supplier that could provide us a fully integrated solution with current technologies that removes the guesswork for our customers. Datacard provides that comprehensive solution, and all of our new products work seamlessly together."

Polaroid Commercial ID's new system includes a range of product offerings including three software editions, each with improved functionality and more robust features, and two new Polaroid ID Card Printers which offer customers a choice of options and have been engineered for high quality printing, ease of operation and ease of serviceability. Polaroid customers will now have access to complete ID systems or they may choose to purchase products separately and upgrade as their needs change.
