Varlink have announced their appointment as a distributor for CASIOs range of next generation rugged hand held computers. CASIO have been developing rugged hand held terminals for over 10 years.

The IT-600 is a rugged pocket-size handheld computer running on Windows CE.NET operating system. Equipped with a built-in Laser Barcode Scanner for quick data capture, this unit is capable of scanning industry standard barcodes. In addition to a beam swing angle control function that allows for precise barcode scanning, the unit also contains a vibration scan confirmation to ensure accurate scanning even in noisy environments.
Another key feature is the integrated wireless technology, which allows data transfer directly to back office software. Bluetooth is standard with WLAN 802.11b and 802.11g versions available. These technologies make the IT-600 ideal for industries such as warehousing and retail applications where secure access in real time information is crucial.
IT-10 Enterprise PDA is ideal for heavy duty use in tough environments, offering superior portability along with high-speed, high-capacity data processing. The IT-10s wide range of functions makes it the perfect tool for a variety of tasks such as retail store management, sales force automation, equipment/facilities maintenance management and market research applications.
