Nebulas Security Generates Record Revenue in First Half of 2005

Nebulas Security, a leading IT security provider is celebrating an outstanding first half years figures. From April to September this year, the companys sales were 2.5 million almost its total revenues for the entire previous financial year.

Strong market demand for IT security solutions has certainly assisted the companys rapid growth, according to its managing director, Nick Garlick. He believes that much of Nebulas Securitys success is due to key partnerships with companies such as Postini and F5 Networks whose innovative security technology has made them two of the industrys fastest growing companies. As evidence of this, Garlick points out that during this years second quarter, Nebulas Securitys Postini based business increased by 77%.

Market demand for email security gateways and enterprise encryption has also contributed to Nebulas Securitys half year figures. The companys success in these areas are due to its recently signed partnerships with PGP and IronPort. PGPs enterprise encryption solutions are specifically aimed at compliance issues, whilst IronPort offers comprehensive email security technology which can scale to meet the largest corporations needs.

Looking to the future, Garlick is confident that Nebulas Security will maintain its rapid growth: Were right on target for revenues of 5million this year, and weve identified some significant opportunities to take us there.

IronPorts Channel Manager for UK & Ireland, Gerard Kerrigan was keen to congratulate the company on its figures: Nebulas ongoing success does not surprise me; it has been based on the very solid foundations of firstly really understanding the customer requirements and secondly being able to clearly communicate how the vendors (IronPort) solution meets them. This customer focus has, in a very short time resulted in significant joint customer successes and a strong pipeline of future business being created.

To support the increased levels of business, Nebulas Security has also strengthened its sales and technical support teams. Further recruitment to in house sales and the 24 x 7 technical support operation will provide customers with more indepth phone support and on site assistance.
