Developers of the appliance based web filtering/threats range, Bloxx, have announced a new strategic partnership with Fresh Egg NT Ltd.
Bloxx Limited, UK developers of appliance based protection against web threats and content filtering are delighted to announce that their first UK distributor appointed is Fresh Egg NT Ltd.
Eamonn Doyle, MD of Bloxx explained Fresh Egg NT know how to sell IT security appliances. The excellent progress they have already made in the firewall marketplace convinces us they are ideal partners to help us promote the Bloxx range.

Bloxx has a great brand allied to an approach to business which is straightforward. Clients love the no nonsense approach of bundling up their web threats and buying one secure appliance. Fresh Egg will capitalise on the fact that Bloxx is already established and in use by local and central government, education, NHS and Corporate customers alike.
The Bloxx range provides clients with 50-50,000 users with a single appliance to cover web content filtering, anti virus, anti spyware and IM management. In addition, Bloxx acts as a proxy and has on board cache. Uniquely in this market segment, Bloxx offers all this functionality without what they describe as nasty cost per user charges.
Doyle explains We identified that large network managers are fed up being charged on a cost per user basis every year. With a wide range of products needed now in web security this means that large swathes of IT budget can be tied down in licences simply to keep what you already have. The Bloxx approach was to combine solutions to these various threats onto one range of appliances and sell them outright.
