Mosaic Fashions Ltd - the parent company of Oasis, Coast, Karen Millen and Whistles - today announced that they have selected DigiPoS Systems, the leading retail solutions provider, to implement their cutting-edge new EPoS solution in all new Oasis and Coast Stores.
Since early March, Mosaic Fashions Ltd have implemented DigiPoS Retail Blade systems in 9 stores and over 27 concessions. The Group are also running a replacement programme which will see the implementation of Retail Blade in their top 20 Oasis stores. This includes the London flagship stores of Argyle Street, Covent Garden and Regent Street. Dublins flagship store, St Stephens Green will also be receiving the Retail Blade solution as part of a planned shop refit.
DigiPoS have provided Oasis with their EPoS systems for the past 4 years. The upgrade from the DigiPoS PowerPos systems to Retail Blade was therefore a logical evolution on the back of an already strong, on-going relationship.
The unique design of the Retail Blade System will enable the retailer to virtually eliminate the costs of conventional maintenance. The system has a replaceable motherboard and hard drive, meaning that stores can maintain a core stock of motherboards and replace /upgrade in-store in just a couple of minutes, without disturbing any of the peripherals. In future, store staff will be able to respond quickly and effectively to where the problem is, considerably reducing the costly effects of till down-time.
The systems supportability, the opportunity to significantly reduce maintenance costs and a very attractive 10 year warranty period means that the Retail Blade implementation was a logical step in our on-going relationship with DigiPoS, said Mike Padfield. We can also now be confident that, even as technology develops, upgrade paths will be limited to the main areas of need and we wont have the headache of replacing the whole system and peripherals.
