Data security specialists, DSO Ltd, has launched three new data backup solutions for small business, home and mobile workers. Available through the DSO reseller network, the new solutions, called i-stor+, i-stor and m-stor, provide a complete data resilience and recovery solution for a fraction of the cost of rival products on the market today.
i-stor+, i-stor and m-stor users have their data backed up and held securely at the DSO data centre in central Manchester. The centre is Cisco powered and has been designed to provide maximum availability to every customer either through broadband or mobile connection. In addition it has a fully redundant dual-fibre ring, 24 x 7 support and emergency battery and power generation systems. All data held at the data centre is mirrored at another data centre location.
i-stor+ has been specifically designed back-up Microsoft Small Business Server users.
Commenting on the new solutions, Andrew Beechener, managing director of DSO Ltd said: "We have taken our time developing i-stor+, i-stor and m-stor to make sure that they are easily installed and provide the data recovery and backup solution required by customers. The three solutions are priced very competitively in the market so that new resellers can enjoy significant monthly margins for every installation. Once connected to the Internet users can securely access their data from any computer by simply logging on to the servers. The solutions do not require any new software applications and will provide a 24 x 7 secure backup solution that is flexible to meet new working environments.
As part of the DSO channel, resellers are fully supported by the sales support team including presentation materials and if required joint visits for sales calls. The solutions are particularly of interest to resellers who have clients that operate remote working practices or have sales teams on the road.
