HHP, the worlds leading provider of image-based data collection systems, has announced that bar code specialist Sciamed Ltd has become its latest authorised reseller.  This will enable Sciamed to expand its range of state-of-the-art bar code solutions still further, and will give HHP greater penetration into the markets covered by the company.

Based in Alford, Aberdeenshire, Sciamed is one of Scotlands leading providers of bar code technology.  It is committed to excellence in both the services it provides and the solutions it sells.  The latter include a wide range of versatile bar code solutions, mobile computers, printers, and media supplies.  Sciameds extensive client base includes organisations in the healthcare, food and drink, finance, manufacturing, and education sectors.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Justine Henderson, explains: We provide high quality bar code solutions throughout Scotland, Ireland and northern England.  However, our commitment to customer care doesnt stop there, as we also provide a complete installation service, specialist technical support, training, and a comprehensive after-care service.

She adds: We are delighted to have been appointed as an HHP reseller, as the brand is well known in the marketplace.  HHP products invariably offer excellent value for money and are easy to use.  We are now offering a wide range of HHP portable data terminals, bar code scanners and imagers, and these are being very well received by our customers.  As a reseller, we are already finding that HHP is a very good company to deal with.

Roel Vreeburg, HHPs Managing Director for EMEA, responds: We are very pleased that Sciamed has become our latest reseller, and we look forward to establishing a close working relationship with them.  We are able to supply them with solutions that offer some of the highest levels of performance available, and yet are still very affordable.  Sciamed is a dynamic company, and will help us to increase our penetration of important niche markets, such as healthcare.
