OXTED, SURREY 22nd June 2004 CNT (Nasdaq: CMNT), the global expert in storage networking solutions, has announced the appointment of Paul Hammond as general manager of the United Kingdom.

Hammond will work closely with all divisions of CNT and its strategic partners to guarantee that the most suitable storage infrastructure decisions are made for its growing and evolving customer base. He will ensure that CNT continues to drive cost efficiency, reduce business risk, increase data availability and enable enterprises to manage their business-critical information more effectively.

Prior to IFS, Hammond held senior IT consultancy positions at leading international corporations including Kvaerner Oil & Gas, Shell Exploration & Production and Haliburton Brown & Root.

Ed Walsh, CNTs senior vice president, worldwide sales, marketing and alliances, said, Paul is extremely well placed to help drive the UK business forward at this exciting time for the storage industry. Paul is committed to building on our current success in the UK, and his balance of experience in both sales and professional services makes him the ideal candidate for this role.
