Varlink, the York-based mobile computing and data capture specialist distributor, has announced that its contract with Zebra Technologies has been expanded and that it is now an Authorised UK Distributor for the complete Zebra product lines.
Since its inception in 2005, Varlink has successfully distributed Zebra barcode and ID card printers and latterly a range of industrial mobile computers. This major contract extension sees Varlink's product set expand to now include Zebra barcode scanners, mobile computers, tablets and wireless network solutions alongside its complete printer portfolio.
The addition of such a significant product portfolio not only allows Varlink's established and growing reseller-base to access a wider range of products than ever before, but the introduction of new innovative products such as the TC8000, ET50:55 tablets, TC70 touch computer and VC80 vehicle-mounted mobile computer by Zebra, further enhances the opportunity to generate incremental business in new markets.
Varlink comments that its UK market focus means it truly understands the nuances of challenges faced by UK-based System Integrators and Solution Providers, and it is this understanding and ability to work with partners to find the right hardware solution for them that has carved such a strong position in the specialist IT channel.
