Print Innovations, which runs alongside Packaging Innovations at the NEC in Birmingham on 27 & 28 February 2013, is set for a record year. easyFairs, the organiser of Print Innovations, reports that interest has never been stronger, with Hewlett Packard, Roland DG, BPIF Cartons, DuPont UK, IPIA, AMS, Friedheim, Esko, Fristan, The Duncan Print Group and Impression Technology Europe just some of the major names exhibiting at the show later this month.

Andrew Pearce, CEO at the IPIA, remarks: "It is great to see how Print Innovations has grown over the last year, and also the commitment it receives from some of the biggest names in the industry. We are therefore delighted to be supporting the show in 2013, and will be doing so again in 2014. It provides a unique opportunity for the printing industry to meet with brand owners, retailers and marketers. Having a print event right at the heart of such a well-established packaging show means that all those involved in packaging have the chance to embrace the very latest print developments. That's why the association urges all its members to get involved."

Print Innovations also features the inaugural Big Print Debate (sponsored by KBA), with Unilever and Waitrose on the panel; plus a compelling programme of learnShops, including presentations from Hewlett Packard and Landa – which will unveil the exciting commercial realities of nanography.

Print Innovations 2013, now in its second year, is co-located with Packaging Innovations, Europe's leading event for primary and secondary packaging.  As a result, it offers a unique opportunity for print and labelling companies to meet all the big brand owners, retailers and marketers. The co-location of the two shows also works well for the show visitors; print fundamentally influences the way a brand is presented, many packaging innovations are driven by print, plus the worlds of promotion and packaging are very much intertwined.

Roy Burton, Managing Director at Impression Technology Europe, says: "We see Packaging Innovations and Print Innovations as a fantastic opportunity to meet new potential customers. We could not be happier that we have chosen to exhibit once again at the NEC show."

Keith Davidson, Sales Director at Duncan Print Group, adds: "The packaging industry is a key focus area for our business, and we place great value on being able to meet marketing and brand managers in a face-to-face environment. Print Innovations is the perfect place to showcase our work."

Such comments are indicative of a show that, according to easyFairs, is on a major upward trajectory.  Matt Benyon, Managing Director of easyFairs UK Ltd, explains: "We're all set for a phenomenal Print Innovations at the end of this month.  The level of support, calibre of exhibitors and standard of speakers is so strong, I think it's fair to say that we are providing the perfect vehicle for the worlds of packaging and print to connect and combine."

With the upcoming 2013 portfolio of packaging shows at the NEC recording year-on-year visitor and exhibitor growth, Matt Benyon is in a positive mood about next year too.  He concludes: "While this year's Print Innovations is expected to be fantastic, this is only the start; we're confidently expecting it to double in 2014."

Print Innovations showcases the latest technologies and concepts to achieve quick turnaround, brand differentiation and time-acceleration to market, and is co-located with Packaging Innovations, Packtech, Contract Pack, Ecopack and, new for 2013, Labelliing Innovations.
