CognitiveTPG A799 POS printer with new standard warranty, enhanced performance and lower price point

Maxa Technologies Limited, specialist supplier of hardware and services to the Mobile, Automatic Identification and EPOS market sectors, has announced that the CognitiveTPG A799 point of sale printer will be available with a standard 4-year warranty, memory upgrade (4MB), additional font support, and a lower price point.

Effective 1 February 2011, all A799 printers ordered will come with a 4-year warranty and a lower list price. The A799 high performance direct thermal receipt printer will still have the same performance, incredible reliability (60 million print lines and 2.3 million cuts), and support for its Receiptware marketing software.
 
In addition to the 4-year warranty and lower price, the A799 will now include added features such as increased Flash Memory (4MB) to support the additional fonts and the ability for paper-saving multi-column printing. "CognitiveTPG printers are best in-class. The new standard 4-year warranty will cover all models of the A799 printer. With the A799 printer's new price point, warranty, and included Receiptware software, resellers can meet the needs of the retail and hospitality point of sale. Key features include easy drop and print paper loading, two-colour printing with marketing and promotional software, ceramic knife auto cutter, and all standard communication interfaces.
