Eagle Technologies lands contract with DSGI

Eagle Technologies, a leading distributor of desktop printers, has won the contract to supply FTSE 100 company DSGi Business with Evolis card printers.

DSGi Business is the dedicated business-to-business arm of DSG International plc.  It brings together three specialist B2B IT brands: PC World Business, MacWarehouse and Equanet.  The organisation is a leader in its field, offering IT products and services to small businesses, charities, schools, SMEs, large corporations and public sector clients.

The desktop card printer market is a new venture for DSGi Business, but it was one in which the company could see great potential, as Christina Meleka (Vendor Account Manager) explains: "I saw the Evolis printer advertised in a trade publication and it was of immediate interest.  I thought it would fit well into our product range and would be of especial interest for schools and colleges for printing ID cards, membership cards, etc.  I researched the product and found it was available exclusively through Eagle Technologies."

Eagle Technologies is the exclusive UK distributor for the Evolis range, which will now be available online from DSGI Business and through PC World business account holders.  The range includes Tattoo, Pebble and Dualys printers and a range of consumables and accessories such as ribbons, cleaning kits and travel cases.
