G4S Cash Services (UK) (G4S) has adopted Zebra Technologies MZ mobile printers for use by couriers.

The lightweight and versatile printers will be used when couriers collect and deliver cash from customer sites. Money is collected after being counted by the customer and placed into a G4S vehicle, and a receipt is printed verifying the collection.

Security and efficiency are at the heart of what we do. Printed receipts mean the possibility for mistakes is kept to a minimum, commented Glyn Hughes, Director of Technology G4S Cash Services (UK). Zebra has been selected as it provides the most cost effective and robust printer.

G4S has upgraded its existing printers with 1,800 MZ units which have been implemented across the UK.  Accuracy is so important when dealing with cash, added Matt Parker, product manager, mobile at Zebra Technologies. Using mobile printers can provide peace of mind and a more effective way of working.
