American Power Conversion Unveils Casual Power Ready Notebook Cases Designed for the Mobile Professional

APCs New Cases Include Messenger, Backpack and Roller Styles & new Universal power Adapter

American Power Conversion  (APC), a world leader in power availability and protection solutions, has announced three additions to its Power Ready (TM) Notebook Case line. Designed for professionals on the go, these new models improve the organisation and protection of critical electronic devices, such as notebooks, PDAs and cell phones. Features including dedicated device compartments, cable management and storage, as well as ample internal and external padding, make these cases an ideal option for mobile consumers.

As professionals carry an increasing number of sensitive electronic devices to stay in communication, informed and entertained, they need to have quick and easy access to them while traveling, said Joe Loberti, APCs vice president of Home and Distributed Systems. The new casual Power Ready Notebook Cases allow consumers to organise, power, and protect their critical devices in a stylish and durable design.

The additions to the Power Ready Notebook Case line include:

Power Ready Notebook Messenger features a casual over the shoulder design with a front panel pocket perfect for essentials like tickets or sunglasses. Compartments specifically designed for mobile devices makes accessing them easy. Currently available in Europe, the Power Ready Notebook Messenger carries an estimated resale price of 39.99 (TC850N-EC).

Power Ready Slim Notebook Backpack includes a cable jack and storage for headphones on the shoulder strap, giving users convenient access to them while on the move without having to disconnect. Currently available in Europe, the Power Ready Slim Notebook Backpack carries an estimated resale price of 49.99 (TC1450N-EC).

Power Ready Notebook Roller offers an upright design to ensure ease of use and movement when traveling, along with a lightweight locking telescoping handle. The removable packing sleeve allows users to easily store items such as a change of clothes for an overnight trip. Currently available in Europe, the Power Ready Notebook Roller carries an estimate resale price of 89.99
(TC1750NR-EC).

All three cases feature specifically designed pockets to secure and protect a phone, PDA, MP3 player, and other equipment such as a power adapter or supplemental notebook battery. A cord port allows individuals to charge a notebook while its secured in its padded compartment, and mesh pockets enable users to store excess charger cables out of the way. An easily accessible organiser panel helps keep important items at quick reach and utility pockets on the side offer quick and convenient access to a water bottle or umbrella. APC designed the cases in light weight and durable materials including 1682 Denier Nylon and Tarpaulin for strength and protection in wear-prone areas.

Currently available in EMEA the new Universal Power Adapter carries an estimated resale price of 99.99 (UPA9-EC).
