Dynamax seeks new partners to expand UK digital signage

With the international market for digital signage poised for a period of rapid expansion in 2006, Dynamax Technologies is offering suitable companies the chance to become involved.  The sector specialist is looking for partners to sell its flagship digital signage content management solution, PointOfView NG to end users in the UK and abroad.

PointOfView NG is already used by media giants such as Maiden Outdoor and JCDecaux to power high-profile signage networks, and Dynamax is keen to increase the product's market share significantly throughout 2006.

It plans to do so through the recruitment of technology companies capable of working with Dynamax to provide complete, managed digital signage networks to end users.  Dynamax is especially keen to work with companies with integration expertise which can provide medium to large sized customers with a physical and communications infrastructure.

PointOfView was developed by Dynamax as a tool for media networks, retailers and corporate customers to get the best out of a technology which is rapidly becoming part of the advertising mainstream. It has delivered over 5 million hours of advertising and information on digital signage networks of up to 1400 screens over the last 2 years.

Dynamax CEO, Ian McKenzie comments: "We originally chose to develop PointOfView after seeing our customers struggling to deliver content to the screens.  It made sense for us, as the experts, to create a solution that would make our clients' lives easier."

The resulting solution, PointOfView, is a Microsoft Windows-based solution that offers integrators 'plug and play' installations. Once in place, it enables users to schedule and broadcast advertising campaigns over IP networks of LED, LCD or Plasma screens with ease.

A sophisticated auditing function guarantees compliance which combined with fully automated pricing and scheduling ensures that the end-user achieves their sales, marketing and profit objectives.  PointOfView NG is compatible with a variety of content formats, including MPEGs 1 to 4, Macromedia Shockwave & Flash, Windows Media, HTML, Bitmap and JPEGs. Particularly useful for smaller clients, PointOfView is able to run Windows PowerPoint.

Ian adds: "With our partner network in place, however, we plan to offer potential digital signage customers a more elegant solution.  Both parties will be able to do what they are best at, with Dynamax providing a powerful, fit-for-purpose solution and our partners providing the network infrastructure.

"End users can then go about their business of raising revenue by selling advertising space on these fully operational networks."

He concludes: "We look forward to expanding our network of partners throughout the next year and working closely with companies who feel they are ready to commit to the exciting digital signage market."
