GeBE Printer System MULDE Times 3

The handy GeBE thermal printer in a plastic housing for installation is now available in three standard paper widths: 58, 80, and 114 mm. With this enclosed GeBE product family, various OEM print applications can be supported. The newly added 4" printer for installation has a high resolution, so even documents formatted for DIN A4 can be printed legibly. This makes it ideal for information terminal applications. Furthermore, this energy-saving printer can be operated with rechargeable batteries, even plugged into the power outlet of a car, and can be used for stationary or mobile applications. It supports RS-232, IrDA, USB, and Bluetooth interfaces. Due to the Easyloading Technology, exchanging the paper roll becomes extremely simplistic, and tedious paper threading has become a thing of the past.

4 inches instead of A4 printout
Due to its high print resolution (203 dpi) and 832 pixels lined up over a width of 104 mm, the 4" printer MAXI Mulde is able to master VGA as well as XVGA screenshots. Controlled through an HP Laserjet printer driver, the printer software allows compressed printouts of A4 pages. In addition, compressed data (acc. to PCL5) can be transmitted to the printer with up to 115 kBaud, so the serial data transmission will not have the usual slow-down effect on the print speed, when graphics are printed.

Intelligent power management for mobile applications
The controller board of the new thermal printer was developed by GeBE and comes with energy-saving power management. Therefore, the printer with its 5 V printer mechanism can be operated with rechargeable batteries (5x Mignon), which makes it ideal for mobile applications. A DC/DC converter can be integrated to allow an operation from on-board electrical systems between 10 and 36 V, creating even more possible applications for the user.

Designed to custom applications through color selection and private labeling
The plastic housings from GeBE slide into simply designed cut-outs from the outside, where they get fastened, making them very service-friendly. Custom housing colors and console labeling is available even for smaller quantities. GeBE develops the hard- and software for their printers in-house. This explains the high flexibility concerning custom applications.
