Effective April 1, 2005, DMS-pioneer DocuWare founded DocuWare Ltd. with headquarters in London. DocuWares newest subsidiary will be responsible for further expanding the companys document management business throughout the United Kingdom.
The international business of DMS specialist DocuWare continues to grow. Aside from Germany and the USA, significant growth was experienced in Great Britain in 2004, specifically a 34 percent increase over the previous year. Several new customers, some with well-known names such as International Jet Services, Krauss-Maffei Process Technology Ltd., Lancaster City Council, Sheraton Skyline und Symphony Telecom Ltd. were added this past year in the region, expanding the companys customer base to nearly 200.
With its own office located in metropolitan London, the British Isles will now be receiving more direct consult. The goal is to provide existing partners and customers with local support, fortify the companys partner network and further speed up growth in the English marketplace.
Says DocuWare President, Jrgen Biffar: Since establishing a US subsidiary in 2000, we clearly experienced how important a local presence is for developing certain core markets. In having a separate, powerful team located on-site in London, we will be well-positioned to make the most of the high growth potential offered by the United Kingdom.
Acclaimed Seminars also in England
In the second half of this year, seminars for both DocuWare customers and administrators as well as potential clients will be offered in London and Manchester. These one-day events have been very well-received in both Germany and the USA.
