THOMSON NETg HELPS ITS INTERNATIONAL CHANNEL PARTNERS TO GAIN COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

NETg, a part of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), today announced that it has launched a new Strategic & Technology Services offering to its International channel partners. Available now, the Strategic Services team will enable Thomson NETgs Premiere channel partners help their clients create learning programmes, which are tightly linked to business objectives and which have a demonstrable impact on both employees and the business. This move demonstrates Thomson NETgs commitment to working with its channel partners as a facilitator and trusted advisor to allow them to add real value to customers at every stage of the learning process and ensure success.

Channel partners will have access to Thomson NETgs Strategic & Technology Services either through re-selling the services to customers directly or by allowing Thomson NETg to work with their clients on a one-to-one basis. The Strategic Services team will act as a consultancy by working hand-in-hand with partners and their customers to assess and understand clients learning needs and business goals before prescribing a tailored and strategic learning programme, which is measurable and capable of proving return on investment. The team will provide advice at every stage; from ensuring successful implementation of each customers learning programme, to managing the programme, to evaluating the results, to helping the programme evolve so that it continually addresses business needs. Thomson NETgs sales and marketing consultants will also be available to advise partners and their customers on how they can drive maximum usage of learning programmes.
