The half-screen Vehicle Mount Computer offers a unique 'easy click' mounting system that meets two key requirements of companies looking to deploy mobile computers more efficiently to leverage even greater value from their investment. Rather than being tied to one vehicle, the MX3X can be moved from one bracket to another. In this way, companies can equip materials handling equipment with brackets, and simply snap in a MX3X when needed. In addition, the MX3X can double-up as a hand held computer when it needs to be used away from the vehicle, using its built in LiOn battery and optional integrated bar code scanner.
Thanks to its compact size the MX3X can be mounted on any type of industrial vehicle; from a picking trolley or pallet jack to a forklift truck and even a quay crane. In comparison to other, larger vehicle mounted computers, the MX3X enhances driver safety and comfort by offering several flexible and versatile mounting options. Operators find the MX3X easy to use with its large bright VGA touchscreen display and a glow-in-the-dark keypad. With its CE .NET operating system, customers will have built-in access to Microsoft's .NET Compact framework, with all of its associated tools and management features, which will greatly simplify software application development.
LXE's exciting new X-Scale-based product line - the MX3X, the MX5 and the MX6 demonstrates LXE's commitment to producing leading edge technology for real-time data collection.
