Visix wins DIGI Award for Best Digital Signage Product Innovation

Visix, Inc. has been awarded a 2021 DIGI Award for their Voice Recognizer Widget for AxisTV Signage Suite in the category of Best Digital Signage Product: Innovation. The DIGI Awards recognise the best digital signage applications and the most innovative new products for the digital signage market.

“Continual innovation is one of our core values,” says Debbie DeWitt, marketing communications manager for Visix. “We started working with voice user interface for custom projects in 2019. With the arrival of COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to provide safe interactive experiences for all of our digital signage clients. We’re thrilled to receive this award and extremely proud of our development team for driving this feature to market so quickly.”

The Voice Recognizer Widget (VRW) lets AxisTV Signage Suite clients turn any display into an interactive sign by adding a voice user interface. Users simply drag and drop the widget onto any layout, then set custom parameters that instruct the sign what to listen for and how to respond to requests. It can be used on single displays, banks of screens and video walls in any environment. Real-world application of the VRW allows viewers to walk up to any display, ask for the material they want, and then immediately see that content on screen. AxisTV Signage Suite users simply design the various content options, employ the VRW, enter speech triggers and configure those triggers to launch the appropriate content.

AxisTV Signage Suite offers a growing library of drag-n-drop widgets for easy design of digital signage messages, templates and layouts. Widgets range from configurable text and shape tools to calendars and data integration modules, touch and voice interactivity, weather, countdowns, streams and more. Visix has now won over 140 awards for its digital signage business, products and content designs.
