Development of Adarga Advisory Group

Adarga, the UK artificial intelligence company that enhances human ingenuity through data analysis, has announced the formation of its Adarga Advisory Group (AAG). 

The AAG will be Adarga’s senior advisory and advocacy group. It is to be made up of internationally recognised, external experts, who have enjoyed distinguished careers in defence, security, central government and other commercial sectors. The AAG has been established for the purpose of advising Adarga’s executive management, and its board of directors when appropriate, on specific strategic and operational issues. 

Sitting alongside the AAG is Adarga’s Scientific Advisory Group (SAG), a distinct group with a specific focus on technology. The SAG similarly comprises internationally recognised experts from across academic, research, software engineering and data science fields. The SAG’s role is to advise the Company of the latest science and technology research developments, provide enhanced access to future talent and on market positioning.

Air Marshal Sir Chris Harper KBE, a former Director General of the NATO International Military Staff, has been appointed as the Chair of the Group, alongside several other key people who bring insights, expertise and relationships relevant to Adarga’s industry sectors.

Further to the appointment of the Chair, the following individuals have joined the AAG: 

• The Honourable Andrea Thompson, US Former Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs
• Dr Roger Hood QVRM, TD, DL, Strategic Defence Advisor
• Neil Thompson CB, a former Director within the UK national security communit
