Teamline, the provider of enterprise meeting room solutions built for and tightly integrated with Microsoft UC, has announced a new generation of meeting room technology, the Teamline 5141.

The Teamline 5141 features a rich and intuitive user experience, provided by a new touch screen controller, and enhanced capabilities that deliver on the enterprise need for simplicity, longevity and ongoing investment protection.

The Teamline range of meeting room solutions is the only alternative to PCs running the Microsoft Teams Rooms application. Built as a dedicated appliance-based meeting room solution, the Teamline 5141 is paired with the brand new Teamline Touch – an advanced touch panel controller featuring an all-new user interface and a contemporary design. This powerful pairing represents a huge advancement in meeting room solutions for organisations that have standardised on Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business giving them the simplicity they need for their employees combined with the reliability and manageability that their IT teams demand.

“It goes against the industry norm for businesses to be given no choice at all when it comes to technology and productivity tools. Yet, the enterprise is under pressure to use unreliable and hard-to-manage PC technology running Microsoft Teams Rooms software in their meeting rooms,” said Jonathan Williams, Chief Product Officer, Teamline. “We continue to lead the way with the alternative independent approach to meeting rooms for Microsoft UC by developing dedicated world-class solutions we’ve specifically built to address the needs of the enterprise and its employees.”

Integral to the new Teamline 5141 is MultiJoin, which transforms the meeting room into a totally agnostic environment by delivering a single join now button for meetings held on a variety of leading platforms including Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Cisco Webex, Zoom, BlueJeans, and StarLeaf. MultiJoin will ensure that investments are further protected and that users can join both internal and external meetings in one push of a button.

The Teamline 5141 paired with the Teamline Touch is now generally available and replaces its predecessor the Teamline 5140. Enhancements include an increased number of USB ports allowing customers to connect to multiple peripherals, two direct HDMI connections, and the latest Intel processor technology.

The Teamline Touch, which is also available across the entire range of Teamline meeting room solutions, offers a sleek new design with a high-resolution touch panel providing an increased viewing angle and a new user interface, combining to deliver an enriched experience.
