Gartner identifies Amplience as a CaaS vendor to support content management in digital commerce

As consumers expect more of their shopping experiences, companies are challenged with providing the best customer experiences across multiple platforms.

To remain competitive, companies need to improve their digital commerce experiences to meet the demands of digitally driven customers. Companies need to provide content that is engaging and augments the product narrative to provide customers with a tactile experience.

According to Gartner’s “Use Content as a Service to Support a Unified Experience Strategy for Digital Commerce” report, “Gartner sees digital commerce and content platforms as core capabilities of the technologies supporting new digital business models (see "Scaling Digital Commerce Into a Digital Platform Business"). The flexibility of CaaS is suited to the modular, flexible nature of these emerging digital business technology platforms (DBTP).”

With multiple channels to develop content for, companies are challenged with adapting content across different touchpoints. Additionally, “Gartner recommends the use of "headless" content in this scenario (see "Digital Experience Platforms Need to Feature Headless Content and Smart Client Capabilities").” Using headless content and implementing a CaaS solution can help companies alleviate some of the pain points of delivering quality content that is usable across various platforms in a consistent and timely manner.

It is an honour for Amplience to be recognised by Gartner as a CaaS vendor, while we lead retailers and brands in making their content strategies more efficient, fast and consistent. With more than 200 of the world’s leading retailers including: Crate and Barrel, Gymboree, Mulberry, Shop Direct and TUMI, Amplience provides Dynamic Content, along with Dynamic Media, Product Configuration and User Generated Content, as well as our Retail Engagement platform to meet the needs of every customer across multiple channels and devices. Our platform supports brands and retailers in managing all content types and developing dynamic content including rich editorial features and blogs, shoppable videos and look books, rich product configurators and personalised campaign content.

At Amplience, we’re dedicated to helping companies thrive in a digitally driven environment and our platform is paving the way for these companies to transform the way they manage and deliver content to create rich shopping experiences that integrate content with commerce. We are thrilled to be included in Gartner’s report, which demonstrates how companies can use CaaS to connect customers at every touchpoint and develop content that is tailored to the customer experience.
