DeskCenter Solutions strengthens channel team for further growth in UK and international markets

DeskCenter Solutions, the solution provider for IT infrastructure and dynamic software asset management (SAM), has strengthened its international team in the UK with the appointment of Neil Furby as Partner Sales Manager for the UK and international markets.

Based in DeskCenter's Staines office, Furby will be in charge of strategically growing DeskCenter in the UK, as well as in other markets, by expanding the company's partner network for DeskCenter's Dynamic Asset Intelligence solutions.

Furby has a proven track record of building and growing successful international channel organizations. Over the last 25 years he has been working for many of the world's largest and most innovative software companies, including Snow Software, and Sophos. With experience in network management, security, SaaS and mobility, Furby joins DeskCenter to strategically drive DeskCenter's international expansion.

"With the addition of Neil Furby to the DeskCenter team, we have gained an experienced Partner Sales Manager, who already understands our markets and solution sets. With his network and experience, I am sure Neil will be an integral part in DeskCenter's growth in the UK, as well as expanding into new markets", said Christoph Harvey, CEO of DeskCenter Solutions Group.

Matt Ward, ITAM Services Director at Softcat plc. commented: "DeskCenter has proven a popular choice with some of our clients that want to do more dynamic asset intelligence rather than just compliance. This suite of products allows the customer to take on modules as they mature and incorporate management around the software and hardware lifecycle. DeskCenter is perfect for customers that require complete IT asset visibility, without the overhead and costs traditionally associated with these solutions, with ease of use key, especially for IT management teams."

"I'm also extremely pleased to be joining the DeskCenter team at an exciting point in the company's growth and development", said Neil Furby further. "IT and Software Asset Management (ITAM/SAM), once the preserve of large enterprises, needs to be at the top of any organization's priorities regardless of size. Digital Transformation can only start and be truly effective once you know what you have and how to manage it. Scalability is key in DeskCenter's Dynamic Asset Intelligence solutions.

Their modular architectures and pricing models make them applicable and attractive to customers of all types and sizes, for whom the challenges are the same - visibility, security, automation, compliance and control of their IT infrastructures. DeskCenter partners will particularly like the flexibility of deployment, with options for on-premise or 'as a service'."

DeskCenter supports the digital transformation of medium-sized and large companies with a complete solution set for dynamic and intelligent asset management. While rule-based and adaptable OS deployment and release management automates most tasks in software deployment, patching and update management, it simultaneously identifies unused software and assets via its comprehensive license management, enabling ongoing cost optimization and software license compliance.

In the field of security management, DeskCenter ensures a patched and up-to-date software infrastructure, as well as dealing with unwanted and unknown software elements. Its IT service management automates tasks and processes, delivers a user helpdesk and knowledge base, alongside user self-service portals, unleashing further agility for their customers' IT professionals. Therefore DeskCenter's Dynamic Asset Intelligence solutions both ensure best-in-class IT service delivery, whilst enabling customers through their digital transformations and managing their resulting IT infrastructures.

Neil Furby recently joined DeskCenter Solutions as Partner Sales Manager.
