Datalogic announces new mobile computer for healthcare

Datalogic, a global leader in automatic data capture and industrial automation markets, has launched the Memor X3 HC mobile computer.

Specifically designed as a result of working closely with healthcare professionals to assure their needs are met in demanding healthcare applications, the Datalogic Memor X3 HC device has been built with tough chemical resistant materials to maintain the integrity of the housing even after repeated cleaning with the strong disinfectant solutions.

As leaders in imaging technology and a GS1 industry partner, the new Datalogic Memor X3 HC meets the specifications required for "Scan4Safety and PEPPOL standards". Advanced 2D imaging capabilities onboard the device, including patented 'Green Spot' technology for good-read feedback, can aid compliance with the new Falsified Medicines Directive, that will come into force in 2019. By accurately capturing 2D barcodes that verify serial numbers, manufacturing information, expiration dates; medicines and other items are properly traced throughout the whole supply chain.

The features and functionality of the Memor X3 HC mobile computer, make it ideally suited for use in laboratories, pharmacies and at the patient's bedside helping healthcare professionals to deliver an enhanced level of patient care, while reducing administration time. The Memor X3 HC device is rugged with a sealed construction that survives drops up to 1.2m / 4.0 ft and exposure to water and dust. Its unique compact design and excellent ergonomics offer the operator easy single-handed use.
