Exertis, the distributor of technology products for the retail, B2B, and mobile markets, has strengthened its relationship with ESET becoming a MSP distributor.

The ESET MSP partner programme enables resellers to take advantage of volume pricing for licenses with the ability to add new seats in real time with a simple monthly billing process using Exertis' Security-as-a-Service proposition and their JEM Cloud portal.

ESET is a provider of security software for consumers and businesses from basic antivirus and malware protection to multi-layered security. ESET protects all of the most-used operating systems with the same level of functionality, providing monitoring and detection against threats.

Exertis' innovative Security-as-a-Service proposition enables resellers to offer their customers software deployment at affordable rates spread over 12 months without the need for expensive capital expenditure whilst providing end users with the latest protection. The JEM cloud based tool provides resellers and managed service providers with full control of quoting and ordering. Customers can build monthly quotes on ESET licenses, adjust margins to their liking by figure or percentage and export personalised quotations with their company's letterhead. Once an order is activated the security monthly billing begins on a pro-rata, direct debt basis. Resellers can check the order status through JEM's ticketing system however the live link-up for ESET software means the customer will have their generated keys within 20 minutes. Background administration is also made easy, with granular monthly invoice breakdowns, audited user activity, fully manageable software license portal and control over user privileges and access.

Jason Hill, Exertis, sales director, security said, "With increasing cybersecurity threats, ransomware attacks, cloud and mobile security concerns and GDPR compliancy, together with the increasing demand for as-a-service outsourcing, Exertis' appointment as an ESET MSP distributor is timely, offering great benefits for customers. Our Security-as-a-Service proposition will appeal to a wide range of end user companies that need to deploy new security solutions in a cost effective and scalable manner and our resellers can manage that process easily and quickly with total flexibility."

ESET provides companies with scalable, light footprint, security solutions from the home office to the enterprise offering multi-layered security that leaves no potential entry point to a network unprotected. Its powerful security management console supplies real-time information on the security state of the network, endpoints and mobile devices, including security and administration functionality that protects against threats. Recognised for its innovative and stable technology, ESET has the longest unbroken run of VB100 awards for malware detection of any internet security vendor in the world.

"Following the launch of our successful business relationship with Exertis, we are excited to enhance this partnership even further with the addition of our MSP program. Exertis is a perfect partner for ESET to grow business within this market sector and to boost the ESET brand whilst communicating the benefits of our MSP offering." said Malcolm Tuck, managing director at ESET.
