The owners of One Application, the company now behind the EPOS-Excel software, have broadened its existing retail and hospitality user-base through new channel partnerships.

Bought by industry specialists, including Technical Director Alan Wright, in February 2017, the company has undergone a strategic review to capitalise primarily on the ease of distribution of the EPOS-Excel software. Alan has been working with the product as a supplier for the last 8 years, and has witnessed its development and the potential for expansion.

"The downloadable EPOS-Excel software is being used by a loyal and happy customer-base in hundreds of retail shops, supermarkets and pubs, in the UK, Europe and beyond," Alan Wright explained. "But since taking over the business we have capitalised on the opportunity to broaden its availability in new markets through resellers and distributors. We are looking to recruit EPOS partners and will be pricing the software competitively to encourage further uptake.

"Targeting the channel was an obvious choice for us with our background in retail, and enables engagement with retailers on a new level."

EPOS-Excel is a Windows-based EPOS software solution that combines POS with stock control functions and integration to e-commerce websites and Chip & Pin terminals. The software can be used on a range of Windows devices including tablets, desktop computers, laptops and where appropriate on a POS terminal.

Alan added: "POS terminals can be expensive, and many SME retailers don't require all of the functionality that comes with them. Our EPOS-Excel software is a low-cost alternative, without compromising on quality, that's suitable for literally any SME retail environment that wants efficient point of sale capability on a budget."
