Channel partners will find additional opportunities to grow revenue and enter new markets with the launch of a new Xerox ConnectKey portfolio.
Xerox has transformed traditional printing devices into smart, connected workplace assistants that reflect the evolving needs of today's businesses.
Personalised workflows, one-touch access to the cloud and multi-layered security features make the new Xerox AltaLink and Xerox VersaLink product lines more attractive to customers and easier to sell. Channel partners can use the Xerox Personalised Application Builder and App Studio, for example, to develop and sell custom applications, helping them gain "stickiness" with clients and generate recurring revenue.
"In an SMB market that is completely transforming the way it works, our global channel partners require the very best technology, software and services to enable them to sell and drive customer growth," said Herve Tessler, president, International Operations, Xerox. "Demonstrating our continued innovation and market leading product development, this launch is further evidence of Xerox's absolute commitment to supporting our channel partners in achieving long term and sustainable growth in their local markets."
New AltaLink and VersaLink Lines Provide New Opportunities
The 12 A4 and 17 A3 devices, both colour and monochrome and with speeds up to 90 pages per minute, are all equipped with ConnectKey – a powerful combination of technology and software for small- and medium-sized business (SMBs) and workgroups in larger enterprises. Features and functionality are similar across the fleet, providing a more consistent user experience, which translates to better sales and service margins.
The AltaLink and VersaLink product launch – the biggest in Xerox history – makes it possible for channel partners to maximise revenue opportunities by selling a full line of workplace technologies including light production multifunction printers, managed print services (MPS) and workflow automation solutions.
Xeretec, a leading provider of office print and production technology, and managed print services (MPS), has been selling Xerox workplace technology and MPS since 1991. Through Xerox's channel partner programme, it has grown its portfolio of solutions and technology to expand into new markets, and is now one of the company's top five resellers across Europe.
"The new ConnectKey portfolio has clearly been designed to support the way in which our SMB customers are working both today and in the future," said Marino Keith, MPS operations manager at Xeretec. "With every customer facing an increasingly diverse set of challenges in their digital transformation journey, the flexibility of Xerox's new product range is a huge benefit. We have already seen success with the Personalised Application Builder in particular – giving us the ability to configure and build unique applications that focus on our continual improvement policy and take the customer experience to a different level."
Xerox holds the number-one position in the A3 multifunction printer (MFP) market1, and the company is broadening its SMB portfolio to capture a larger portion of the A4 MFP market, a $12 billion opportunity growing at three percent annually2.
