Episerver, a global provider of a single platform to smartly manage digital content, commerce, and marketing in the cloud, has introduced new omnichannel personalisation capabilities with the launch of Episerver Advance, Episerver Perform and Episerver Insight.
Episerver Perform uses a system of machine learning algorithms to learn and predict which products and offers are most likely to interest each customer and offer the best recommendations. Unlike other product recommendation engines, Episerver Perform is not based solely on a customer's lifetime journey, but instead, it looks at behavioral triggers within distinct journeys. This ensures that shopping for gifts or other infrequent purchases do not lead to irrelevant recommendations in the future.
Far beyond industry-standard product recommendations based on purchase history alone, Episerver Perform has proven to outperform competing solutions lift in revenue for online merchants. It has already helped organisations increase sales between 5-7 percent and average order value (AOV) between 35-65 percent.
The release of Perform also includes Episerver Advance, Episerver's new content personalisation solution. The first release of Episerver Advance includes personalisation for email and event triggering, the latter when combined with the predictive analytic capabilities of the Digital Experience Cloud is key to executing on continuous and consistent journey engagement.
Episerver Perform and Advance also make use of the underlying capabilities of the Episerver Insight Big Data management platform. Episerver Insight's robust API allows organizations to capture, ingest and process information from sources as wide as digital interactions, CRM and ERP systems, loyalty data, as well as secondary data such as store location, competitive analysis, and census and social enrichment. In so doing, Episerver Insight provides a rich foundation for running algorithmic analytics.
All three solutions join Episerver Find, which offers automatically generated, individualised landing pages, content listings and personalized home pages to increase user engagement within a digital channel without the heavy-lifting that personalisation has required in the past. With the Episerver Find search relevance engine, content is automatically selected for each visitor, significantly reducing the path to conversion.

- Episerver Social -- Episerver Social is a new, cloud-based API for community-generated content. Using a high performance micro-services architecture, Episerver Social offers storage, management and delivery of social ratings, reviews, comments, activity streams and groups.
- Content Approval -- A built-in feature for Episerver CMS and Episerver Commerce to approve content quickly. This function streamlines workflow, making it easy for cross-team collaboration, therefore increasing content quality and quantity.
- LivePerson Connector -- LivePerson LiveEngage is a chat capability for websites that gives Episerver customers a way to communicate directly with website visitors through a chat window. It is a cloud based service provided by LivePerson. It has a full back end agent interface that provides usage statistics and sentiment analysis.
