Inther Logistics Engineering BV sold two Automated Document Applicators (ADA) to Boston Scientific in Kerkrade (the Netherlands).
Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC) is a worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices. The European Distribution Center (EDC) of Boston Scientific is situated in Kerkrade and strong in innovation of their processes based on a 5 year Technology Vision.
Within the Boston Scientific Kerkrade Technology Vision two Automated Document Applicators, machines which fully automate the application of documents to the exterior of boxes, will be implemented in order to improve the efficiency of their packing process and enhance the trustworthiness.
Right now they manually attach invoices etc. to a shipping carton. With the Automated Document Applicator the complete process of printing documents, folding and application to the cartons will be automated.
These ADA's will be implemented by Inther at the end of 2016.
