iland, the enterprise cloud infrastructure provider, has received over 4.0 out of 5.0 in all four use cases evaluated in Gartner, Inc.'s 2016 "Critical Capabilities for Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service."*

The four use cases include Mission-Critical Workload Recovery (4.16 out of 5), Extended Recovery Operations (4.16 out of 5), Production and Application Data Recovery (4.04 out of 5) and Managed Service Failover (4.12 out of 5). Twenty service providers were included in this report.

According to the study, "By 2018, the number of organisations using disaster-recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) will exceed the number of organisations using traditional, syndicated recovery services. By 2018, 20 percent of enterprises with a minimum of 5000 employees will be failing over the operation of one or more production applications to either DRaaS, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) or cloud enabled managed hosting."

"Today, near-zero recovery times and recovery points are table-stakes in DRaaS. Companies now seek not just exceptional replication but the assurance of an enterprise-class, highly secure and compliant target cloud, backed by a team of DRaaS experts who will ensure that everything works at the critical time of failover," said Brian Ussher, president, iland. "From the guided on-boarding process through to testing and whether systems run in the cloud for a day, a week or a month, IT leaders must be confident that business continuity includes secure operations and auditable reporting."

Serving customers around the globe with DRaaS solutions for over a decade, iland has evolved its superior service, innovated its technology and instilled confidence in IT leaders that their systems would withstand disaster, whether natural or man-made, malicious or accidental. With replication from physical and virtual systems, unfettered access to certified customer support technicians, guided on-boarding and unlimited self-service testing, iland has crafted a DRaaS solution that is both cost-effective and dependable.

iland was positioned by Gartner in the "Leaders" quadrant of the 2016 "Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service."** The company was awarded Zerto Cloud Service Provider Partner of the Year for 2016 and Veeam Service Provider Partner of the year for 2015.
