Eurotech, provider of smart devices and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies enabling Internet of Things (IoT) applications, has signed an Indirect Solutions Technology Integrator agreement with Cisco.
This agreement enables Eurotech to offer purpose built devices, like industrial or transportation grade gateway systems, together with Cisco® 5921 software worldwide. These products address markets where demanding environmental conditions (extreme temperature ranges, shock and vibration, fanless operation, etc.) require a combination of reliable purpose built hardware and proven enterprise networking functionality with Cisco IOS® software.
"The newly signed agreement with Cisco allows Eurotech to continue developing and delivering tough and reliable Cisco IOS products for international customers," declared Robert Andres, CMO of Eurotech Group. "We have a long and successful history of ruggedizing Cisco technology for demanding vertical markets like transportation, railway, mining, first responders, defense and government organisations."

General availability of first IOS Routing capable COTS products is expected for Q3 2016.
