  • Presentation – asset management in academies

Parago Software, the developer of cloud-based education inventory management solutions, is set to discuss the topic of asset management in academies at The Future of Academies: Showcase and Exhibition, being held tomorrow at the University of Salford. CEO,

Tim Roots, has been invited to speak at the event on Wednesday afternoon at 2.05pm where he will be discussing asset management in schools and academies, and how Parago Solutions make everyone's life easier, as they enable academies to manage facilities in an easy, cost effective and visually engaging way.

At the touch of a screen, schools can see a virtual image of their whole building and zoom into individual classrooms to see every asset and task. To date Parago has experienced wide take up of its solutions, particularly in academies and during his talk, Tim will be outlining why.

The Future of Academies: Showcase and Exhibition will hear from proponents and detractors of academies to give delegates a more informed opinion on the future of education in England. The discussions will include thoughts on the impact of, and reaction to, academies so far, and an in-depth discussion on the opportunities and threats for education presented by the government's most recent announcement.

The exhibition and showcase will see presentations from highly-respected individuals from the education, energy and technology sectors. There is a top line-up of speakers including: Dame Kathy August DBE, Former Chair of the Independent Academies Trust, Peter Tavernor, former Principal of Manchester College and Vicky Beer CBE, Regional Schools Commissioner for Lancashire and West Yorkshire, Department of Education to name but a few.

As always, networking activities will form a major part of the agenda and delegates will have the opportunity to develop contacts and relationships with many executives from the UK education sector.
