A new edge in barcode reading – DED enter partnership agreement with Newland-ID

DED has entered into a new partnership with Newland-ID. Encompassing their range of 1D and 2D barcode scanning solutions, including PDA's, Handheld Barcode Scanners, Stationary Barcode Scanners, Customer Information Terminals and OEM Scanning Engines, DED continues to expand their range of POS equipment whilst maintaining their position of expertise in the POS arena.

DED's partnership with Newland-ID will ensure that the best quality products continue to be offered to customers at affordable prices. Rated as the fourth largest manufacturer of barcode equipment worldwide, Newland's products offer technical advantages that can win business over the competition – for example, reading barcodes from mobile phone screens even at low contrasts. Newland manufacture their own reading engines and chip decodes, ensuring compatibility, tremendous performance and 2D barcode reading that is top of its class.

Gordon Atkins, Sales Manager at DED commented "I am very excited to be adding the Newland scanners to our range. In particular I feel that the 2D scanning products from Newland will complement our existing POS offering greatly. I look forward to working with Newland and developing our relationship further."
