Rugged mobile enterprise products distributor Maxa Technologies Limited, (Maxatec) has signed a new distribution agreement with CipherLab Co. Ltd. of Taiwan, an AIDC solutions vendor with over 27 years in the scanning and mobile computing arenas.
The agreement will see Maxatec focusing on the CipherLab Windows Mobile and Android-based touch mobile computer product set. The Cipherlab mobile computers combine powerful data processing with rugged design, making them ideal for flexible enterprise-wide solutions across multiple industries.
Steve Berry, Director at Maxatec believes that the CipherLab product set enables Maxatec to really broaden its reach into the industrial market sector and will complement the existing portfolio of mobility products.
"We are delighted to be distributing the CipherLab range," says Berry. "Our approach as a Distributor is not to have too much overlap across our product offering and CipherLab has slotted perfectly in as a preferred partner with well differentiated products for some of our key markets. Whilst we will focus on the mobile computing devices, we will also seek to build on the scanning and programmable data terminal element of our business with the versatile range from CipherLab."
Berry continued, "The CipherLab brand has a long UK history and is synonymous with quality in both its' product offering and service levels. In today's competitive environment it is very important for a Distributor to have full support from their Suppliers to ensure that every opportunity is managed professionally and to mutual benefit."
Regional Director for CipherLab, Joyce Lien, said:" We are excited to share our vertical-oriented strategy with Maxatec to enhance user satisfaction and operational efficiency. At the initial stage, Warehousing and Mobility are our main target markets. The newly launched 9700 Windows Mobile Computer and RS30 Android Mobile Computer are designed respectively for these purposes. We expect to create CipherLab success stories in UK soon."
The CipherLab product range consists of rugged, IP-65 certified, Windows and Android-based mobile computing devices with a wide array of features including multiple wireless communication options, VGA/QVGA displays, RFID capabilities, and a variety of processor memory specifications.
